most of us didn’t get into this on our own.
someone gave us a shot, handed us the rope and told us to lean back and trust it. this summer, we’re returning the favor and helping you make it something they’ll want to come back to.

what this is
this is the lake lovers club 1,000 handles passed initiative
it's our way of showing up for the Water Sports Industry Association's (WSIA) pass the handle campaign and helping push it forward.
our goal is simple: introduce 1,000 new people to towed water sports by july 19, 2026 (national pass the handle day).

how it works
it starts with a pledge
in your pledge, set a goal for how many people you’re going to introduce to the water this summer.
that could be:
- 1 person
- 5 people
- 25 people
- your entire crew
you’re not doing this alone
once you pledge, you’ll get...
the simple toolkit gives you everything you need to actually do this -- what to bring, how to find new people, how to get local support, what to post and how to capture it all. simple, practical and ready to use.
short, useful monthly check-ins to keep you moving:
april: what this is + how to get started
may: how to ride responsibly + protect access
june: best practices + how this connects to careers + the industry
july: highlights + what comes next
we’re highlighting the people who show up...
crew features
individual shoutouts
leaderboard tracking
"25 handle crew" recognition

25 handles. one summer. your crew.
join the 25 handle crew
if you’ve got a team, a crew or a group that’s already out on the water, this is your lane. commit to passing 25 handles this summer and turn your regular lake days into something bigger.
the first crews to commit unlock a $250 donation once you complete all 25. and every crew that finishes gets recognized across lake lovers club -- features, shoutouts and more.
bring new people out, get them up and track it as you go.
simple as that.
spread the lake love
