In 1895, a man who lived around the lake decided to move to the east of the lake, but instead of building a new house, he decided to move the entire building across the lake. Literally; he waited for the lake to freeze, then pushed it over to the other side. Unfortunately, the ice broke and the house—along with all his properties including his piano—sank.
